Began running my 1st mile and felt pretty rough with a slushy belly but ended up running it with a negative split of 8;30. I ran up to my house to grab some food and realized I still had time to run before dinner. I went out and ran 2 more miles totaling just under 16min.  That means that the 3 miles together came out at 24:30!!!!!!!!!! which would just beat my PR. Now I took a break in between but didn't feel like I was pushing myself super hard.  I know it is a little thing but freaking out!!!!!!!!! In other news my XC coach is leaving after 20 some years and it looks like I will be a bigger part leading the team next year. Just hoping I can push myself hard enough that they see me as dedicated and not just someone who wants to lead but knows nothing about work. It was a good day :)
